This little Cocker Spaniel is as sweet as they come. Java is a 3 year-old Cocker Spaniel recently rescued by UHA Shelter Support volunteers from a county shelter, where he wound up after being hit by a car.
Java's right hind leg was dislocated in the accident, and, unfortunately, this injury was left untreated. In spite of his obvious pain, Java is a sweet and gentle dog who instantly wins the hearts of everyone who meets him. With surgery, Java will regain use of his leg and will once again enjoy pain free walks and play time with his human and canine friends.
Java is only 2 1/2 years old with a whole life ahead of him. We know times are tuff right now but every dollar will help. We hope you will help us help Java regain the use of his injured leg.
Java is one of the many wonderful purebred and mixed breed dogs who pass through an overburdened animal control system every day. Please remember to spread the word of the importance of spaying and neutering http://www.hope4animals.org/myths.html
