This is where I came from. I lived at the end of a 3 foot chain in the back parking lot of a pet store in L.A. The people there where very mean to me. The children taunted me and the adults provided no shade in the summer and no blanket in the winter. And at times forgot food and water. They intended to breed me to sell my puppies in their pet store. Please do not encourage pet stores to use life as commodity. Rescue (then spay/neuter) dogs that already exist and are in need of a loving home.

The volunteers with UHA noticed that my situation was bleak and that I need help! They came to my rescue and talked the store owner to release me. Please, always keep your eyes open to the conditions under which the dogs near you are living. If it were not for the watchful eye of this kind woman my life would have been one of misery.
