  Thank you Sharon and Allister for taking such good care of sweet Rio Rio’s adopters wrote: To everyone at United Hope for Animals - We adopted Rio, a lab (now named Lonnie) mix in May 2005. She is doing great. A times she is a little nervous of some people and places, but day by day she is becoming more confident and happy. My husband and I love her very much and she is a very special member of the family. I tell everyone that we meet where she came from and I hope that I have helped save at least one other dog and spread some awareness of the wonderful work that you do. I think that you are doing a wonderful job; I only wish we could donate a huge amount of money but we just don't have it. Special thanks to Peggy who fostered Lonnie/Rio.
