Sandy was found wondering the streets of L.A. She was confused, afraid and so very thin.

Sandy now lives in Simi Valley with a wonderful family. There's a 14 yr autistic boy who lives in the home and the two of them bonded to each other immediately. He really needed her. I do believe that this was meant to be! She has free run of the house and backyard thru a doggy door in the kitchen. She's very happy there!

They're taking her to the groomer today to get her official Schnauzer haircut!! ...by the way, they LOVE that little girl. Sandy sleeps under the blankets with the boy every night and from the time he comes home from school till the next morning they are never far from each others side. The grandmother comes every day and baby-sits the dog so she won't feel alone and abandoned, isn't that the sweetest thing you've ever heard! Having this dog is really helping the boy's development. He is trying to do more things on his own to help his new dog. Thanks for letting me take the dog and be the one who connected the two together. It's really a great feeling to be a part of that.

Thank you so much for helping us find our special girl. She loves her walks, my son and they are nuts for each other and she is really well behaved. You really made our Christmas special this year!
